Admission of Criminal Conduct at Hearings

This may be a basic issue of which I should have knowledge, however it came up today in certification hearings.

Does the confidentiality of the hearing cover such admissions to the hearing officer?

If so, can anyone direct me to the code section covering this?

Don,
In L.A.,if a Writ is taken, the proceedings in court will not be confidential and I sometimes so advise a patient where this might be a concern. The hearings we do and our writings are confidential, but whether or not subject to subpoena, or you being called to testify is a different matter.
